Job Description:

The Short Version

We're placing a Senior PM with a consumer entertainment company that runs one of the largest digital ticketing and loyalty platforms in the country — millions of transactions, real scale, and a tech team that's actively modernizing how they build.

This isn't a features-and-roadmaps PM role. This is a platform and integrations role — the kind where you're the connective tissue between internal engineering teams and a complex ecosystem of enterprise technology partners. If you've come from an API-first company, managed third-party integrations at scale, or made the jump from engineering or solutions architecture into product, keep reading.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

The company has a significant and growing partner ecosystem — payments providers, loyalty platforms, ticketing vendors, ordering systems, data partners — and no dedicated PM owning it. That changes when you join.

On the internal side you'll partner with principal engineers on platform architecture decisions — things like shared APIs, internal developer capabilities, and how the engineering org builds and consumes platform services. On the external side you'll own the technical relationships with enterprise partners from evaluation through implementation, migration, and ongoing optimization.

Specifically:

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for platform capabilities and third-party integrations
  • Define APIs, integration requirements, and partner-facing documentation standards
  • Be a credible technical thought partner to senior engineers — not a proxy, a peer
  • Lead external partner relationships through the full lifecycle — evaluation, implementation, migration, optimization
  • Improve, replace, or modernize legacy integrations without blowing things up operationally
  • Help internal and external developers adopt new platform capabilities
  • Communicate technical tradeoffs clearly to both engineering and business audiences

This is not a coding role. You won't have GitHub access or be expected to write production code. But you need to understand what's in there and be able to have a real conversation about it.

What We're Looking For

You need to have:

  • 5+ years of PM experience with meaningful ownership of APIs, integrations, platforms, or technical products
  • Real technical credibility — not "I've worked with engineers" but "engineers respect my technical judgment"
  • Experience managing third-party vendor or technology partner relationships end to end
  • The ability to define what good API documentation and integration design looks like
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and building clarity where little exists
  • Strong communication skills across both technical and business audiences — you can adjust the language without losing the substance

Strong signal if you have:

  • A CS, engineering, or technical degree
  • Prior experience as a software engineer, backend engineer, solutions architect, or technical lead
  • Experience writing API docs or owning developer-facing products
  • Background in payments, loyalty, commerce, ticketing, or hospitality tech
  • Experience at a company that wasn't a pure tech company but was building modern product practices

What Success Looks Like

At 3 months you've mapped the integration ecosystem, established partner relationships, and identified what needs to be fixed first.

At 6 months at least one legacy integration is meaningfully better and the engineering team has a PM counterpart they actually want to work with.

At 12 months platform capabilities are starting to function like reusable products rather than one-off implementations. Partners can integrate faster. Internal teams are less blocked.

The Environment

Consumer entertainment at scale. Millions of guests. Real technical complexity underneath a product that people genuinely care about. A digital engineering team that's actively investing in how it builds — new tooling, modern practices, a culture shift from siloed specialists toward genuine cross-functional collaboration.

This isn't a startup and it isn't a FAANG. It's a well-known brand with a meaningful technical challenge and a team that's doing real work to modernize. If that sounds more interesting than optimizing a mature product at a tech giant or rebuilding something for the tenth time at a startup, it might be the right fit.

Compensation

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience. Discretionary annual bonus. Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and a few perks that come with working for a company in the entertainment business.
